As an IT Technician Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced staff to provide first-line support across the academy.
You will play a key role in minimising disruption to learning by ensuring our hardware and software are functioning correctly.

Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Under guidance, install, maintain, and repair computer hardware and software, conducting regular checks to ensure ICT areas are fully operational.
- User Support: Provide first-line support to staff and students, setting up equipment and resolving technical issues quickly to minimise disruption to learning.
- System Integrity: Maintain system security and efficiency by managing backups, archiving files, and following strict user protocols.
- Safeguarding & Compliance: Ensure adherence to ICT policies, particularly regarding internet usage and safeguarding, and report any concerns immediately.
A minimum of GCSE Grade C/4 in Maths and English is preferred but not essential, as this can be completed during the apprenticeship.
