North London NHS Foundation Trust Pharmacy Department is offering an exciting12-month fixed-termrotational pharmacist opportunity, with structured training and a clear development pathway from Band 6 to Band 7.
As a Rotational Mental Health Pharmacist, you will gain experience across two sites and a range of services, including inpatient, rehabilitation and older adult services, providing medicines optimisation, clinical pharmacy support and patient-centred care.
Working as part of multidisciplinary teams, you will collaborate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to improve outcomes for service users.
This role is ideal for pharmacists who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and eager to develop specialist knowledge in mental health pharmacy.
Whether you work in community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, primary care, or are a trainee pharmacist due to imminently join the GPh C register, we would love to hear from you.

- BAND 6
- To be responsible for the provision and contribute to the development of clinical pharmacy services, in conjunction with the Lead Pharmacists.
- To provide input into policy and procedures affecting the use of pharmaceuticals at both local and trust wide levels under direction.
- To provide and participate in the following: ward–based clinical pharmacy, in-patient and outpatient dispensing (including supporting the clozapine dispensing service), patient counselling, medicines information, audit.
- BAND 7
- The Senior Clinical Pharmacist will play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality, patient-focused pharmacy service to mental health wards, forensic wards, community teams, and rehabilitation and crisis services within the Trust.
This includes supporting medicines optimisation, promoting safe and effective use of medicines, and contributing to clinical governance.
- The post-holder will supervise junior staff and trainees, contribute to education and training initiatives, and support quality improvement (QI) programs.
- The role requires collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and external partners, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving service needs.

This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington.
