InterContinental London Park Lane is currently looking for a Room Technician to join our team in the heart of Mayfair with an immediate start. Our hotel redefines traditional luxury, offering a blend of modernity and flexible sophistication. We’re looking for a hands-on and proactive Rooms Technician to join our growing Engineering team. From luxury guest rooms and public areas to behind-the-scenes operations, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our hotel is maintained to the exceptional standards our guests expect.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across guest rooms, corridors, public areas, offices, and back of house spaces.
  • Responding efficiently to maintenance requests, including emergency repairs in occupied guest rooms.
  • Using the HotSOS system in real time to manage, update, and close tasks accurately.
  • Supporting the wider Engineering team with day-to-day repairs and maintenance projects.
  • Maintaining Engineering areas in a safe, clean, and organised condition.
  • Delivering a seamless luxury guest experience through attention to detail and pride in your work.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous maintenance or engineering experience within hotels, hospitality, or a customer-focused environment.
  • Practical knowledge across general maintenance disciplines such as plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, or basic HVAC.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management.
  • Someone who communicates confidently and works well both independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding service and maintaining high standards.
