As well as providing executive support at the highest level, you’ll have line management responsibility for a Business Support Administrator who will report directly to you.

You’ll oversee their day‑to‑day workload, provide coaching and support, ensure high standards of administrative delivery and continuously develop efficient ways of working to support the wider organisation.

Key responsibilities include

  • Providing comprehensive Executive Assistant support to the Managing Director.
  • Managing a complex and ever‑changing diary and coordinating meetings.
  • Supporting inbox management, correspondence and key communications.
  • Preparing briefing papers, reports and meeting documentation.
  • Organising travel, events and stakeholder meetings.
  • Leading the administration of Board and Strategic Projects Board meetings.
  • Preparing agendas, Board papers and governance documentation.
  • Taking accurate minutes and monitoring actions through to completion.
  • Building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting corporate projects and organisational initiatives.
  • Working closely with a Business Administrator, providing guidance and oversight to ensure the smooth delivery of day‑to‑day administrative support.

About You

You’ll be someone who naturally keeps things organised, enjoys solving problems and takes ownership of your work.

You’ll have

  • Significant experience supporting senior executives or directors.
  • Experience managing complex diaries and competing priorities.
  • Previous experience supporting Boards, committees or governance meetings.
  • Excellent written communication and minute‑taking skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and planning abilities.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • The confidence to work with senior stakeholders and build strong professional relationships.
  • Absolute discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office, Teams and Outlook skills.
  • What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is

  • Proactive and always one step ahead.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Highly organised and solutions focused.
  • Professional, approachable and dependable.
  • Adaptable, flexible and resilient.
  • Passionate about delivering an exceptional service.

Why Join Us?

You’ll enjoy a varied and rewarding role, significant autonomy and the opportunity to work alongside senior decision‑makers on projects that help shape the future of the organisation.
