We have an exciting opportunity for a Complex Safeguarding Worker to join our co-located multi-agency team, working at the forefront of preventing child criminal exploitation (CCE) and child sexual exploitation (CSE).

About the Role

You will build trusted relationships with vulnerable children and young people, helping them overcome challenges, reduce risks, and achieve positive outcomes.

Working alongside colleagues from Early Help, Social Care, and Greater Manchester Police, you will deliver tailored, child-centred interventions and contribute to a coordinated response to safeguarding concerns.

You'll also work with parents and carers to raise awareness of exploitation, strengthen family resilience, and promote stability at home.

What You'll Do

  • Build meaningful relationships with children and young people at risk of exploitation.
  • Assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and develop effective safety plans.
  • Deliver direct, evidence-based interventions that support positive change.
  • Work closely with families, carers, and partner agencies.
  • Contribute to multi-agency planning and decision-making to safeguard children.
  • Advocate for young people and help them access the right support at the right time.
