Location: Paisley (Inchinnan Business Park) - Onsite

Position Type: Full-time, 6-Month Contract (Potential for extension/replacement)

Pay Rate: £13.20/hr + 25% Shift Allowance (£25,155 salary equivalent)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator I to join our team in a fast-paced production environment. In this role, you will carry out the manufacturing process by closely following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and blueprints to assemble, inspect, and package products for the medical industry.

Shift Patterns

  • Early Shift: Mon - Fri, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Back Shift: Mon - Fri, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Manually assemble tubing, connectors, and medical bags according to customer specifications and drawings
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines
  • Perform visual inspections on in-process and finished goods to ensure high quality
  • Work collaboratively within a team to support Lean and Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives
  • Maintain a strict focus on workplace safety and quality standards

Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to work in a controlled, low-noise cleanroom environment
  • Comfortable wearing cleanroom gowning (including gloves, hair/beard nets, face covers, and safety glasses) with no makeup or jewelry allowed
  • Ability to stand and move about for the duration of the shift, including bending, reaching, and repetitive gripping/hand-tool use
  • Ability to infrequently lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

What We Are Looking For

  • Education: Secondary education, advanced certificate, or equivalent
  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing industry is preferred
  • Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Basic math, computer, and communication skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks effectively in a team setting
