An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Year 2 Long-Term Supply Teacher to start immediately in November 2024 and continue through to July 2025. This is a full-time position in a fantastic primary school in Reigate, Surrey that offers career progression and the chance to make a lasting impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
As the lead teacher for a Year 2 class, you will take on the same responsibilities as a permanent class teacher, including:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet national curriculum standards
- Tracking student progress through marking and assessments
- Engaging with parents at parents' evenings and maintaining positive communication
- Managing the classroom environment to ensure student success
- Collaborating with the school's teaching team and support staff
This role offers the best of both worlds: long-term stability with the flexibility of supply teaching.
What You Need to Apply:
- PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience in Key Stage 1 , especially Year 2, is a bonus
