An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Manager, or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step, to lead the launch of a brand-new solo children's home in Gloucestershire.
This is a rare chance to shape a new service from the very beginning.
With the groundwork already in place, the successful candidate will complete the Ofsted registration process, recruit and develop a high-performing team, and create a positive, therapeutic environment where children can thrive.
The Role
Reporting to the Responsible Individual, the Registered Manager will
- Complete the Ofsted registration as the named Registered Manager.
- Lead the opening and day-to-day management of a solo children\'s home supporting a young person with emotional and behavioural needs.
- Recruit, mentor and develop a dedicated staff team.
- Embed trauma-informed, child-centred practice throughout the home.
- Ensure compliance with Children\'s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and safeguarding legislation.
- Build positive relationships with local authorities and external professionals.
- Lead Ofsted inspections and drive continuous improvement.
