PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Deliver consistency and quality in service across a specified region, in collaboration with regional peers, through a sound understanding of the challenges and differences across your region, from charity density, store format, to local landscapes, working with the team to find solutions to enable them to deliver the FSGo service to an excellent standard. This role operates as part of a job-share arrangement alongside an experienced manager, providing a collaborative leadership model that ensures continuity, consistency, and effective support across the function. The post holder will work closely with their job-share partner to jointly oversee responsibilities, maintain high service standards, and contribute to the achievement of team and organisational objectives. This arrangement offers the opportunity to leverage shared expertise, knowledge, and decision-making to deliver effective outcomes while ensuring seamless service provision.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maximise the value of surplus food redistributed from FareShare Go food partners to their local communities.
- Support charities to access and collect as much surplus food and non-food community support as possible from FareShare Go and Felix food partners through excellent customer service, area development and food safety assurance.
- Support food partners to maximise the volumes of surplus food and non-food community support they provide to local communities through professional account management of food partner outlets.
- Senior level account management of regional food partner contacts, key charity accounts and local third sector networks.
- Through collaboration, support other delivery and customer-teams, as well as key internal stakeholders including Public Affairs, Corporate Volunteering, Marketing and Regional Centres.
- Achievement of agreed regional and individual KPIs (annual food safety checks, reviews, charity coverage, partner liaison and account management visits).
- Recruitment, training and induction of new team members, ensuring full knowledge of processes and adherence to standards, accuracy and completeness of records of charity and food partner interactions.
- Resource management of team capacity and skills to ensure regional service delivery is maintained to the highest possible levels at all times.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Demonstrable experience of team and performance management in a customer-facing environment.
- Ability to collect and analyse data to inform decision making and the development of ways of working.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- High standards of written and verbal communication to a variety of audiences and learning styles.
- Good knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office and experience using CRMs or internal client management software.
