The Best Connection are recruiting for Drivers' Mates based in the Crawley and Salfords area for our well-established clients in the logistics industry.
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Start time varies from 5am to 7:30am, finish time varies depending on when you get back to the yard, usually around 3:30pm to 5:30pm.
The role: You'll be working alongside our drivers to ensure deliveries are made safely, on time, and with excellent customer service. This role will include heavy lifting, so you'll need to be comfortable with manual handling and enjoy working in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities of Driver's Mate:
- Assisting the driver with loading and unloading goods
- Supporting with navigation and route planning when needed
