The Best Connection are looking for a reliable and motivated Injection Moulding Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team.
Reporting to the Manufacturing & Project Lead, you will play a key role in producing high-quality components while ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health and safety requirements are met.
Whether you already have experience in injection moulding or have transferable manufacturing skills and are eager to learn, we offer full training and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate injection moulding machines, robots, ancillary equipment and handling equipment in line with approved work instructions.
- Load and replenish raw materials and packaging, ensuring correct identification and traceability.
- Inspect moulded components to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Record production, quality, scrap and downtime information accurately.
- Report machine, quality or process issues promptly to the Setter, Technician or Line Manager.
- Identify and isolate non-conforming products following company procedures.
- Pack, label and handle finished products correctly.
- Carry out routine operator checks and basic machine cleaning.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Support stock checks and report any shortages.
- Participate in continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
- Assist with production changeovers where trained and authorised.
- Follow all company quality, health & safety and environmental procedures.
- What We’re Looking For
- Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is desirable.
- Ability to follow written instructions and quality standards.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Accurate record-keeping skills using paper or electronic systems.
- Understanding of safe working practices within a manufacturing environment.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

- 40-hour week
- Monday to Thursday: 7:55am - 4:30pm
