The Role

Westray Recruitment is looking for dependable and flexible Shunter Drivers to support a busy, fast-paced operation in the Teesside area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely moving and positioning vehicles and trailers around the site
  • Carrying out vehicle checks before use
  • Following all site procedures and health and safety requirements
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors and other operational teams
  • Ensuring vehicles and trailers are positioned correctly and securely
  • Reporting any defects, damage or safety concerns immediately
  • Supporting the wider operation when required Maintaining a professional and safety-conscious approach at all times
  • The Person

The successful candidate must

  • Hold a full,
  • clean UK driving licence
  • Be able to pass a
  • drug and alcohol test
  • Be available for both
  • day and night shifts
  • Be willing to work
  • Be flexible and available across a seven-day operation
