We are recruiting a skilled
Caretaker for a key site in Redcar. This is an immediate requirement for an experienced maintenance professional with a background in commercial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Site Opening: Daily morning unlock of school grounds and buildings, ensuring safety standards are met.
Maintenance & Repairs: Hands-on basic DIY tasks, including minor joinery work and light plumbing fixes.
Logistics: Moving furniture, setting up classrooms/halls, and handling heavy lifting.
Requirements
Proven experience in commercial caretaking, maintenance, or facilities management.
Active
Enhanced Child Barred List DBS (or registered on the DBS Update Service).
Practical DIY skills (basic joinery & plumbing) and strong physical capability.
Pay: Β£15.17 per hour.
Schedule: Standard daytime hours (08:00-16:00) with weekends off.
Immediate Start: Full-time, steady hours guaranteed through September.
