The predicted salary is between 31500 - 38500 £ per year.

Hours: 7am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 1 in 2 Saturdays 7am – 12pm depending on business needs (paid as extra hours)

We are looking for a Recovery HGV Driver to join our Accident Repair Centre in Bognor Regis. The position is a high-profile position within the business and your general job functions include the collection and delivery of customer vehicles and when required moving such vehicles between our different Halo Sites. The post holder will ensure all customer vehicles are collected, cleaned and delivered in an efficient, timely and professional manner; Providing an exceptional standard of customer service at all times. You will work efficiently in a modern fast-paced clean environment, collaborating as a team player and consistently

The role will include, but is not limited to

  • Collecting and delivering vehicles & observing all highway laws including speed restrictions
  • Inspecting vehicles and assessing damage; taking clear photos throughout
  • Coordinating and updating all administrative duties in relation to your role
  • A clear, methodical and clean working area which is to be maintained at all times
  • Adhere to all areas of Health and Safety and report any issues as a matter of urgency
  • Follow company processes relating to car cleaning and imaging as vehicles will need to be cleaned on return to the site, whether that is by a car wash or by hand.
  • Assisting and interacting with the workshop staff and utilizing your mechanical/fitting knowledge to get vehicles through the workshop as efficiently and effectively as possible.
  • Performing all other adhoc administrative duties as allocated by the Logistics Manager
  • Supply a positive & enthusiastic approach to your working day at all times

What we are looking for?

  • Must hold a Class 1 Licence
  • A valid CPC card
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Keen to support others and be a cooperative team player
  • Handle all jobs with due care and attention
  • Able to complete work from start to finish within the time frame given to a high standard
