We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Medicine for the Elderly/Stroke Department within Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fantastic entry point for anyone looking to start or grow a career in NHS administration.

The role sits within our friendly and supportive administrative team and offers the chance to work across the Medicine for the Elderly/Stroke service at MSE. We are also open to considering job share arrangements, providing flexibility to suit different circumstances.

  • Answering telephone and face-to-face queries.
  • Booking new and follow-up appointments using EPR.
  • Recording clinic outcomes.
  • Filing and scanning duties.
  • Booking patient transport, liaising with portering and ambulance teams.
  • Reviewing all patient demographics when speaking to them, to ensure EPR is up to date.
  • Ensuring the patients' up-to-date contact numbers, address, and GP details are current.
  • To ensure all post is sent out in a timely fashion.
