Duties as Reception Year Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children’s early development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure pupil progress
- Maintain accurate records of pupil development and liaise with parents/carers
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
Ideal Reception Year Teacher:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching in Early Years or Reception classes
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- Is adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to pupil development
- Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
