Our client, a well-established accident repair facility in Reading, is looking to recruit a skilled Estimator VDA to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, managing vehicle damage assessments and repair planning for a variety of damaged vehicles.

Duties:
- Assess the structural, body, mechanical, electrical, and interior damage of vehicles post-accident
- Prepare accurate repair estimates including parts and labour costs
- Complete insurance forms indicating repair costs and recommendations
- Negotiate contracts with material suppliers
- Monitor repair processes to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Liaise with customers and insurance companies as required
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator / VDA within a bodyshop environment
- Strong understanding of vehicle damage assessment and repair procedures
- Excellent communication, organisational, and negotiation skills
- Ability to keep updated with advancements in vehicle technology, including electrical systems
- Effective time management and team leadership abilities
- Willingness to work Monday to Friday, with availability for occasional Saturday shifts as needed
