We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead a portfolio of critical geospatial products and services that support operational, regulatory and transformation activity across Thames Water. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll shape the future of our geospatial capability, influence major digital transformation programmes and take ownership of strategic GIS product roadmaps. You’ll lead a team of product professionals and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, helping to improve operational performance, customer outcomes and regulatory compliance.

What you’ll be doing as a Senior Product Manager – Geospatial Products:

  • Lead and develop our key geospatial products.
  • Set the product direction, manage priorities, and help the team deliver useful improvements for the business.
  • Work closely with business teams, sponsors, and technology partners to understand needs, make trade-off decisions, and turn ideas into clear benefits.
  • Keep stakeholders updated on progress, risks, and issues, while supporting agile working and continuous improvement.

Base location – this is a Hybrid role based at Clearwater Court, Reading, RG1 8DB.

Working pattern is Monday to Friday, 36 hours a week.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a fixed-term contract for initially 12 months.

What you should bring to the role:

  • Strong knowledge of geospatial systems, data and integrations.
  • Product strategy, roadmap ownership and prioritisation.
  • Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an agile product environment.
  • The ability to manage risks, dependencies and delivery challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and explain things clearly.

Additional skills and experiences would be great to have/bring:

  • Knowledge of Utility Network Models and large geospatial platforms.
  • Experience working with SAP, Salesforce and integrated enterprise systems.
  • Supplier and third-party delivery management.
  • Product management certifications and advanced agile delivery experience.
