Are you a qualified Band 5 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) looking to make a real difference in people’s lives? We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate PWPs to join our friendly and innovative Talking Therapies service. In the event that you are successful, you will be permanently based within one of our 6 PWP localities: Newbury Hospital (Newbury); Wokingham Hospital (Wokingham); Erlegh House (Reading); Upton Hospital (Slough); London House (Bracknell); Foundation House (WAM).

As a PWP, you will play a key role in improving access to evidence-based interventions for people experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and depression. Working within primary care and community settings, you will support service users to build resilience, improve wellbeing, and achieve meaningful recovery. You will work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and collaborate closely with professionals across health, social care and community services, demonstrating a strong commitment to equality and inclusion.

We offer a Monday – Friday working pattern, with hybrid options for a mix of working from home and in the office. There is an expectation to work one late per week 12-8pm (but no lates on Fridays). The must haves:

  • Post graduate certificate in evidence based psychological treatments (IAPT pathways).
  • Registered with BACP for PWP Accreditation.
  • Evidenced experience of supporting Long Term Conditions (LTC).
  • Willing to work one 12-8pm shift per week (the rest either 8-4pm or 9-5pm, no late shifts on Fridays).
