As a Planner in our Planning and Scheduling team, you’ll turn information into practical work plans, coordinate with field teams, councils, customers and other stakeholders, and help make sure jobs are completed efficiently.

- What you’ll be doing as a Planner
As a Planner, you’ll be responsible for building and managing work plans for our field teams, helping them complete work efficiently and keeping customers and stakeholders informed throughout.
- Build and maintain work plans for leakage and customer-related work.
- Analyse information and plan resources effectively.
- Liaise with field supervisors, managers and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with local councils to obtain the necessary permits.
- Keep customers informed and support jobs through to successful completion.
- Manage requests relating to more complex field activities and escalate issues when needed.
- Review and closely manage outstanding work and backlogs.
- Use internal planning and scheduling systems, including Click.
Base location: Kemble Court, Reading, RG2 6AD. This is a hybrid role, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the office.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. We can also offer an earlier working pattern of 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
- What you should bring to the role
- The ability to plan, coordinate and prioritise work in a busy environment.
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with field teams, customers, councils and managers.
- The ability to review information accurately and use it to create and manage effective work plans.
- A proactive and team-focused approach, with the confidence to take ownership of your work.
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Skills and experience that would be advantageous for this role
- Previous experience in a Planner or Scheduler role.
- Experience using Salesforce and Excel.
