About the role: We are seeking to recruit invigilators at Reading College, ensuring our students receive the best possible exam experience.

This is a vital role, essential for the smooth delivery of exams and for creating a positive experience for our learners as they complete their courses!

We would gladly welcome applications from candidates who feel they have the skills to perform this role.

No experience is necessary, and all training will be provided.

We run exams and assessments throughout the year and require Invigilators who have flexible availability but are specifically available during the particularly busy periods of January, May, June and November.

Responsibilities include supervising students, ensuring exam regulations are followed, and maintaining a calm atmosphere.

This is a flexible position with full training and the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team based at our Reading College campus.

Interviews are being held on the 3rd of September at Reading College.

What do you need to be a successful Exams Invigilator at Activate Learning?

The successful applicants will be calm, highly organised and able to demonstrate an empathy for students.

You will understand and familiarise yourself with Awarding Organisation guidelines and possess the skills to support and monitor groups of learners.

Some of our students require access arrangements during exams.

Our invigilation team will ensure that these students receive the full support that they are entitled to during the exams so that they can achieve their full potential.

Some of our exams require the use of IT.

As a result, we are seeking to ensure as many of our invigilators as possible are confident with the use of IT.

If you wish to administer IT based exams as well as paper ones then we will provide training on the role when you are appointed.
