We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and friendly General Catering Assistant to join our busy kitchen team. While this role is based at Oakfield School, a key daily responsibility involves traveling to nearby Trinity First School to serve lunch to their pupils. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to make a tangible difference to the daily lives of students across our local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing salads, sandwiches, and simple cooked dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients at the Oakfield School kitchen.
  • Travel to Trinity First School to serve daily lunches, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for their pupils.
  • Operate till systems, manage queues, and provide excellent customer service to pupils and staff across both settings.
  • Maintain high safety and hygiene standards by cleaning equipment, washing crockery, and monitoring food temperatures in line with regulations.
  • Help set up the dining halls, clear tables, and support special school events such as parents' evenings and conferences.
