We are currently recruiting for a Quality Tester / General Operative to join our client's team in Stockton-on-Tees.

The role includes
- Inspecting and testing returned lawn mower parts/equipment.
- Carrying out rework and basic repairs, which may include changing plugs and other components.
- Fault finding and identifying issues with returned products.
- Fixing faults where possible and ensuring products meet the required quality standards.
- Re-palletising products ready for storage or dispatch.
- Accurately recording test results, faults and rework information using computer systems.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area.
- Working as part of a team to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Candidate
Excellent computer skills and confidence using computer systems to record and retrieve information.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify faults or quality issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude and confidence using basic hand tools.
- A logical and methodical approach to fault finding and problem solving .
- The ability to follow technical instructions and work to set procedures.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable and flexible attitude.
- The ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday .
- Previous experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous:
- Quality testing or inspection
- Mechanical assembly or repair
- Garden machinery or lawnmower repair
