We’re delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our close-knit Quality Assurance team at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, where you’ll take a leading role in our Quality Control laboratory and serve as a Releasing Officer for sterile and non-sterile medicinal products, manufactured under our MHRA 'specials' licence. You’ll be supported by a small, dedicated team of Quality Assurance Technical Officers, working collaboratively to uphold the highest standards of pharmaceutical quality and patient safety. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop a career in Quality Assurance, with hands-on experience in product release and laboratory oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the day-to-day operation and organisation of the QC Laboratory in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (EU GMP) and the documented quality system.
- Be a QC Releasing Officer for raw materials, containers, prepacked and over labelled products, non-sterile and aseptic medicinal products manufactured under the Manufacturer’s “Specials” (MS) Licence (issued by the MHRA, Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency).
- Participate in the provision of pharmacy technical services in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (EU GMP) and the documented quality system.
- Communicate effectively within the QC and across technical services departments to ensure a robust quality assurance approach is applied to the manufacture and development of medicinal products.
- Contribute to the Pharmaceutical Quality Management System including attendance at quality review meetings when required.
- Develop own skills and knowledge and contribute to the training and development of others.
