Job requirements of QA Manager:
- Directly managing the site based Q.A. team, ensuring strong leadership and direction is provided to achieve and maintain a single vision for the technical team in all departments.
- Support the Factory Technical Manager in ensuring visit reports are completed, and corrective actions closed in a timely manner.
- Providing production teams with effective trending of key data such as quality assessments to support continuous improvement.
- Working to BRC standards, responsible for managing all aspects of food safety, legality and quality throughout the factory; maintaining and developing the existing Quality Management System to support high quality standards.
- Being actively involved in both ‘factory floor’ and technical systems, including HACCP, leading customer visits and audits and building strong working relationships.
- Ideally hold Level 3 Food Safety and HACCP certification and be able to communicate clearly and coherently at all levels of the business.
- Drive the site's quality objectives to maintain customer standards.
