The predicted salary is between 41.87 - 41.87 £ per hour.
You will be the point of contact and link for the Brinsbury buses in connection with Compass Bus Company. You will also be a point of contact for students and staff with queries relating to the buses at Brinsbury. This would include dealing with incidents, contact with Compass and requesting new or replacement bus passes.
We are looking for a charismatic, determined and confident person who has the ability and skills to engage hard to reach groups and disengaged learners as well as to develop and co-ordinate activities that promote social cohesion and integration.
As our College Community Support Officer, you will:
- Provide a familiar, visible, consistent and accessible presence for students, staff and visitors across the College site and be a focal point in relation to their personal safety, wellbeing, supervision and security.
- Be the point of contact for all enquiries relating to the Brinsbury Bus Service via Compass.
- Become an integral part of the Student Safeguarding and Wellbeing team encouraging increased community confidence and cohesion.
- Work with teams across the College site including the 14-16 provision, Foundation Programmes and the wider Pastoral team.

What you will bring to the role:
- Experience of working with young people (including 14-19 year olds) and vulnerable adults.
- Experience delivering training in the workplace.
- Microsoft applications, including a working knowledge of databases.
- GCSE Maths and English Language or equivalent at grade C/4 or above.
