PTS Ambulance Care Assistant - York | Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust

Would you like to be part of a team delivering an invaluable service to the patients within the North Yorkshire region?

We are currently recruiting for a PTS Ambulance Care Assistant for York Ambulance Station.

This is a full time, permanent role - we are interested in candidates who share a value and belief in delivering the highest standards of quality service and patient care.

  • Training Courses are full time, Mon- Fri for 4 weeks, full attendance is required. You must be available to attend the training course in November 2026.

Please note: you must have a full UK manual driving licence to apply for this role.

Responsible for the care and safe transportation of non-emergency PTS patients.

Ensuring timely transportation to and from appointments at hospitals, treatment centres, day units or other places of care.

At all times the post holder must ensure patient safety and reduction in harm to patients, self, colleagues, and others by assessing risks and adopting safe manual handling working practices.
