Thurrock Council is seeking two highly organised and motivated individuals to join our team as Integrated Neighbourhood Team Project Support Officer, supporting the delivery of neighbourhood transformation and operational programmes across Thurrock and the wider Essex Integrated Care System.

This role plays a key part in enabling integrated working between the Council, Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB), and a range of health, social care, and voluntary sector partners. You will support the coordination, development, and delivery of programmes aligned to both national priorities and local transformation ambitions.

The post holder will provide high-quality project, programme, and administrative support across a diverse portfolio of health and social care transformation initiatives, with a strong focus on integrated neighbourhood and locality-based working.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experience of minute taking and providing high-quality administrative support
  • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
  • Experience in organising meetings, preparing agendas/papers, and managing follow-up actions
  • Experience supporting projects or programmes
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Experience of working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and partners
  • Awareness of the NHS 10-Year Plan ('Fit for the Future')
  • Understanding of neighbourhood health and integrated care models
  • Experience of using project management tools and AI to support project objectives.

DBS Check At Enhanced Level with Adults Barred List

This is a hybrid role requiring flexibility to travel to various locations for meetings, alongside home working. A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to adapt in a dynamic environment are essential.
