Luma Education Recruitment is currently looking for a Primary Teacher to work within a Leicester City school from September 2026. This is a great opportunity for a teacher seeking either flexible supply work or a longer-term position, with the potential for a permanent role. The successful candidate will be confident in the classroom, able to build strong relationships with pupils and deliver purposeful, engaging learning.
You will join a supportive school environment where maintaining high standards, encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils achieve their potential are key priorities.
The Role
- Delivering well-structured lessons in accordance with the primary curriculum
- Teaching across KS1 and/or KS2, depending on your experience
- Adapting teaching and activities to meet different learning needs
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Promoting good behaviour and clear expectations
- Assessing pupil understanding and monitoring progress
- Providing appropriate support and challenge to pupils
- Working effectively with Teaching Assistants and wider support staff
- Maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment
- Following school policies and procedures, including safeguarding requirements
- Contributing to pupils' wider academic and personal development
