Where you’ll be working? Demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What you'll be doing? You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring all operational activities meet company, client, and legislative requirements. You'll champion a culture of continuous improvement in safety, health, and environmental performance, supporting our teams to consistently uphold the highest standards. Experienced SHE professional with a strong track record in ensuring operational compliance with regulatory, client, and corporate standards through proactive risk management and continuous improvement. You'll be skilled in supporting the implementation of SHE and CDM requirements, delivering engaging training, inductions, and awareness campaigns, and providing expert technical guidance to operational and engineering teams. You’ll have experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, competency assessment, and performance trend analysis to drive targeted interventions and organisational learning. Known for maintaining a visible on‑site presence, fostering a positive reporting culture, and supporting professional development through collaborative, innovative approaches to safety, health, and environmental excellence.

What you’ll bring? Do you have an understanding of SHE‑related legislation, relevant codes of practice, and their application in construction? Do you have experience in SHE practices within construction and utilities? Do you have experience working with Business Management Systems, including relevant contract and client procedures? Do you have the ability to conduct audits, identify and address non‑conformances, recommend preventative actions, and support the delivery of new initiatives? Do you have the ability to carry out site inspections? Do you have a NEBOSH General Certificate, Diploma, relevant degree, or equivalent NVQ‑level qualification?
