At Hays Education, we are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Preston to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner to join a committed team and play a key role in helping young learners develop the skills, confidence, and curiosity needed for a successful start to their education.

Your new role

As the successful candidate, you will

  • Deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Assess and monitor progress, ensuring all children reach their full potential.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community.
  • What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you should have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Recent experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Reception.
  • A strong understanding of child development and the Early Years curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
