Core working hours are between 8:00 and 19:30.
There is also a requirement to work one Saturday or Sunday every five weeks (you’ll then get a day off the following week) and one bank holiday a year.
Weekend and Bank Holiday shifts have additional pay rates.
The role is based cross-site at Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley Hospital dispensary.
- To effectively use all relevant pharmacy IT systems including EMIS, Omnicell and Pharmacy Web Tracker
- To carry out technical pharmaceutical duties in specified areas of the pharmacy service including dispensing and distribution of medicines.
- To plan and manage own workload and that of pharmacy technicians and assistants to ensure services are delivered in a cost effective and operationally efficient manner.
- To beinvolved in the delivery oftrainingand development of colleagues including supportingwith thecompetency assessmentprocess.
