- The work you will be required to undertake typically involves the following:
- Harvesting the strawberries across both sites, this is all done by hand.
- Flower teasing - separating the leaf from the flower to make harvesting easier and more efficient
- Cleaning of crop, which involves removing of dead/unwanted leaf and or weeds.
- Cleaning of greenhouse- sweeping and weeding floor.
- Small amount of participants may be required to work in the packing area- which involves weighing the punnets of strawberries and placing on the processing line, visual inspections of strawberries, labelling and cleaning.
