We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to work with the Assistant Facilities Manager across all aspects of the Facilities Management service provision. This role sits within a team that delivers specific outcomes for customers and stakeholders, while also taking responsibility for the delivery of services and projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality day-to-day service to customers. Service quality will be a key deliverable for the Facilities Management team and will be made transparent to customers and stakeholders through the effective delivery of facilities support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front of house support, welcoming visitors and assisting them appropriately.
- Ensure security procedures are followed at all times.
- Deliver support services including porterage, meeting room management and management of the FM mailbox.
- Conduct inductions for new starters, including health and safety and environmental inductions.
- Log, facilitate and oversee reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits.
- Support compliance with environmental, HSEQ and security standards, including audits.
- Assist with traffic management plans, fire risk assessments and water hygiene arrangements where appropriate.
- Provide administrative support to the Facilities Management team and support the delivery of low to medium risk projects.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Experience working with customers and soft services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management.
- Ideally, experience of completing compliance checks and reports, although training can be provided.
- Positive attitude with a proactive, can-do mindset.
