The predicted salary is between 40500 - 49500 £ per year.
We are looking for a proactive and dedicated deputy manager, on a 12 month fixed term contract, to help deliver the goals and vision of our high standard supported accommodation service.
The service is for 16-24-year-olds who have either experienced homelessness or are moving on from a children's home setting.
The deputy manager will support the service manager in creating and maintaining the necessary structures and culture, to allow the young people and staff team to thrive.
- What you'll be doing
- Support the staff team in creating a young person centred, transparent and affirmative culture.
- Drive forward on the many plans/goals within the service, e. g. co-production, Advantaged Thinking etc.
- Work with key partners and stakeholders including the Foyer Federation and the Salvation Army Church.
- Ensure the service is compliant with all internal and external procedures/expectations/obligations, including the OFSTED.
- Be part of a 24/7 - 365 day on-call rota.

- An understanding of supported accommodation and/or youth homelessness.
- Experience leading within a multi-disciplinary team and/or managing/supporting staff in the fulfilment of their roles.

- Ability to work independently and take the lead on projects that contribute towards the services delivery plan.
- Working Arrangements
The role is primarily based at the Merriweather site, though as we operate two sites, there may be occasion to work at our Preston Foyer site.
The post is principally Monday-Friday, though some weekend and/or evening work may be required, as per needs of the service.
