Please note that this is a fixed-term post with a set end date of 31/12/2026. This role is not eligible for sponsorship. This post forms part of a service currently subject to a service improvement and redesign programme. Service delivery models, roles and structures will be reviewed as part of the improvement process, which may result in changes and a consultation process in line with the Trust’s Organisational Change Policy.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a receptionist to join our team within the LSCFT Dental Service. You will be expected to efficiently assist with the daily running of dental treatment services for the LSCFT Dental Service. This will include all aspects of booking appointments, dealing with telephone and counter enquiries from the public, other health care professionals and other dentists. You will undertake various clerical duties including providing clerical assistance to clinicians and senior staff, and managing waitlists.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual, who has the ability to work within a team and on one’s own initiative. You will have a good standard of education and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential. You will mainly work at your base clinic; however you will also be required to work across the LSCFT Dental Service, to efficiently assist with the daily running of Dental services. Experience is not required as full training will be given.
