Children's Community Continence Nurse Specialist.
Post holder to work flexibly across the Children's Bladder and Bowel service, delivering high quality, evidence-based bladder and bowel care for children and young people.
Perform and interpret complex skills in; urinalysis, bladder and bowel charting, ultrasound bladder scanning.
Draw upon an appropriate range of multi-agency and inter-professional resources in their practice.
Develop and use knowledge and skills in order that professional development, bladder and bowel competencies can be maintained and keep professional portfolio up to date.
To accept responsibility for own professional practice as a reflective, accountable clinical practitioner.
Escalate concerns in relation to management plans/ treatment/ safeguarding/ social issues to ensure the child's safety is paramount and in accordance with legislation.
