Duties as a Reception Class Teacher:
- Planning and delivering high-quality EYFS learning opportunities
- Creating a stimulating and nurturing classroom environment
- Supporting children's academic, social, and emotional development
- Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on pupil progress
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
Ideal Reception Class Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within EYFS or Reception
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
