What you'll be doing
As a Recruitment Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting our recruitment team by identifying, engaging and placing high-quality candidates across both contract and permanent opportunities throughout international markets. This is a 180 recruitment role with no sales or business development responsibilities. Your focus will be entirely on candidate sourcing, qualification and relationship building.
From day one, you'll receive hands‑on training and work closely 1:1 with experienced managers and leaders who are invested in your success. You’ll learn:
- How to source and engage candidates confidently using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, social media and internal databases
- How to build strong relationships and professional networks
- The full recruitment lifecycle and best-practice recruitment techniques
- How to qualify candidates against specific client requirements
- How to conduct professional telephone and video interviews
- How to build talent pipelines for both contract and permanent vacancies
- How to manage candidates throughout the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement
- How to develop into a high-performing recruitment consultant with strong earning potential
Day-to-day, you will:
- Search for and identify suitable candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, databases, referrals and networking techniques
- Proactively headhunt and engage passive candidates who may not be actively looking for a new role
- Speak with candidates throughout the day to understand their backgrounds, experience, motivations and career aspirations
- Conduct screening interviews to assess technical skills, project experience, qualifications and cultural fit
- Qualify candidates on availability, salary expectations, contract rates, location preferences and willingness to travel
- Build and maintain talent pools of specialist professionals across engineering, automation, manufacturing and technology sectors
- Prepare candidate summaries and profiles for submission to clients
- Support candidates through interview preparation, feedback and offer stages
- Keep CRM records up to date and accurately manage candidate pipelines
- Monitor market trends, salary levels, contractor rates and talent availability across international markets
- Work closely with senior consultants and account managers to deliver the best available talent to our clients
You will spend the majority of your day communicating with candidates, building relationships, understanding what motivates them and helping connect them with exciting career opportunities around the world.

Entry Requirements
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above).
- Full Valid UK Driving License (Desirable)
- Living in the UK for at least 3 years with the Right to Work in the UK
Additional Information
Earn the Minimum Apprentice Wage (£8/hr) + Commission. The successful candidate will be flexible with working hours (including some evenings).
The Apprenticeship
Alongside your role, you will be working towards a recognised Level 3 Business Administration qualification. Training will be delivered through Microsoft Teams with one of the apprenticeship tutors. During the first eight weeks of the programme, sessions will take place once a week to provide structured support and learning. After this initial period, training will become less frequent, taking place a few times each month while continuing throughout the apprenticeship.
