Holt Engineering are working with a busy cable assembly and electronics manufacturing company Based in Portsmouth.
They are looking for a Picker Packer to join their steadily growing team.
If you have warehouse experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have great attention to detail, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm with an early finish on Fridays!
Responsibilities for the Picker Packer
- Picking and issuing components to the production team.
- Heavy lifting and manual handling of cables
- Cutting and stripping cables for dispatch and production using cutting machines
- Packing and preparing finished cable assemblies for dispatch.
- Labelling and organising stock within the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures.
- Supporting production by ensuring materials are available when required.
What We're Looking For in a Picker Packer
- Previous warehouse or stores experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy.
