Automation Hub Operative - 14 hours a week

Lalys Pharmacy is looking for an experienced Hub / Warehouse operative for their dispensing operations facility.

We use Medimat technology to process the majority of our prescriptions from all of our branches centrally at our Hub.

This is a hands-on position which will involve learning how to use Medimat technology and our processes in order to pick stock and sort and bag prescriptions for 15 of our pharmacies to a high degree of accuracy.

This vacancy is for full time weekday hours: Monday & Friday 9-17:00. No weekends or Bank Holidays.

You will have

  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
  • Stock control experience.
  • Experience of warehouse operations IT systems.

Job Description

  • Picking, sorting and bagging medication for individual prescriptions.
  • Monitor and adjust the automation work flow, analysing issues and suggesting options, actions and follow up on outcomes.
  • Communicates the status of activities and issues to relevant staff.
  • Deliveries in, positioning of stock, filling the Medi Mat, movement of stock throughout the site and deliveries out.
  • Occasionally do extra shifts to cover annual leave in the team
