Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join their skilled workshop team.
The duties for the successful MIG/ TIG Welder
- Carry out MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
- Weld a variety of components and fabricated assemblies
- Work from engineering drawings and job specifications
- Fabricate and weld sheet metal components
- Prepare materials before welding and complete finishing work where required
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets the required quality standards
- Use workshop machinery and equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment
- Work as part of a busy and experienced production team
- Ensure work is completed accurately and within required deadlines
The Requirements for succesfull MIG/ TIG Welder
- Previous experience in MIG and TIG welding
- Good welding and fabrication skills
- Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium would be advantageous
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Good understanding of workshop health and safety
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills
