We're looking for a confident Registered General Nurse (RGN) with previous experience supporting older adults who can provide safe, responsive nursing care throughout the night.
What We're Looking For
- Active
- NMC registration as an RGN.
- Minimum of
- 1 year post-registration nursing experience.
- Previous experience within a
- nursing home, care home or similar older adult care environment.
- Experience supporting people living with
- dementia.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Confidence managing medication and monitoring residents' changing health needs.
- Good understanding of safeguarding, care planning and clinical documentation.
- Confidence working during night shifts and using professional judgement when required.

Your Nights
- Deliver safe, compassionate and individualised nursing care.
- Monitor residents with a range of
- nursing, dementia and complex care needs.
- Administer medication safely in accordance with NMC standards and home procedures.
- Complete clinical observations and respond appropriately to changes in residents' conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and care documentation.
- Ensure residents remain comfortable, safe and supported throughout the night.
- Provide guidance and clinical support to care colleagues.
- Deliver clear and comprehensive handovers to the incoming team.
- Liaise with on-call management and external healthcare professionals when required.
- Promote residents' dignity, independence and individual choices.
- Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, infection prevention and clinical practice.
