This Good CQC-rated nursing home provides specialist nursing and dementia care for older adults, combining strong clinical standards with a warm and genuinely person-centred approach.

Purpose-built and thoughtfully designed, the home provides bright and comfortable living spaces alongside a beautiful garden, giving residents an environment that feels welcoming rather than clinical.

We're looking for a confident Registered General Nurse (RGN) with previous experience supporting older adults who can provide safe, responsive nursing care throughout the night.

What We're Looking For

  • Active
  • NMC registration as an RGN.
  • Minimum of
  • 1 year post-registration nursing experience.
  • Previous experience within a
  • nursing home, care home or similar older adult care environment.
  • Experience supporting people living with
  • dementia.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Confidence managing medication and monitoring residents' changing health needs.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding, care planning and clinical documentation.
  • Confidence working during night shifts and using professional judgement when required.

Your Nights

  • Deliver safe, compassionate and individualised nursing care.
  • Monitor residents with a range of
  • nursing, dementia and complex care needs.
  • Administer medication safely in accordance with NMC standards and home procedures.
  • Complete clinical observations and respond appropriately to changes in residents' conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and care documentation.
  • Ensure residents remain comfortable, safe and supported throughout the night.
  • Provide guidance and clinical support to care colleagues.
  • Deliver clear and comprehensive handovers to the incoming team.
  • Liaise with on-call management and external healthcare professionals when required.
  • Promote residents' dignity, independence and individual choices.
  • Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, infection prevention and clinical practice.
