The Project Mentor is a dynamic, multi-skilled role designed to provide flexible support across all ETF contracts and projects. This hybrid position spans teaching, mentoring, and program delivery — with duties varying based on Centre needs and specific project requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mentoring 16–18-year-olds to build employability skills, self-confidence, and readiness for the world of work.
  • Receiving training in the King’s Trust Team Program.
  • Covering staff holidays and supporting residential trips as part of the wider team offer.
  • Delivering high-quality information, advice, and guidance (IAG) with a person-centered focus that supports progression and positive outcomes.
  • Confidently shifting between delivering structured teaching sessions and providing targeted individual mentoring.
  • Working closely with Centre Managers to support education and training delivery across a range of contracts and projects.
  • Tracking progress, managing workload independently, and liaising with employers, families, and wider support networks to form a wraparound approach to each learner’s journey.

Above all, this role is about creating a positive, fun, and engaging experience for every individual — helping young people feel supported, empowered, and ready to move forward.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check with a 6-month probationary period.
