Duties of a MET Technician:
- Carry out removal, refit, and replacement of mechanical, electrical, and trim components on vehicles following repair procedures and manufacturer guidance
- Support vehicle dismantling and reassembly, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards
- Identify and report any additional damage or parts requirements during repairs
- Ensure all parts for repairs are available, correctly matched, and securely fitted
- Conduct quality checks and test vehicle systems to confirm repair integrity before customer handover
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, working in a tidy and safe environment
- Assist the team with additional tasks as required within your capability and as directed by management
Requirements of a MET Technician:
- Proven experience as an MET Technician within an accident repair or automotive environment
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and trim vehicle systems
