This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced

Painter, Painter and Decorator, Commercial Painter, or Industrial Painter to support painting and decorating works across commercial and/or industrial premises.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality painting and finishing work while maintaining safe working practices at all times.

A valid

MEWP licence (IPAF or equivalent) is highly desirable, as some tasks may involve working at height using access equipment.

  • Key Duties
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, cleaning, and priming.
  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
  • Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works.
  • Work from drawings, specifications, and instructions to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Protect surrounding areas and maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
  • Identify and report defects, damage, or maintenance issues.
  • Operate access equipment safely where required.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, site rules, and risk assessments.
  • Complete painting and decorating work to a high standard within agreed timescales.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Painter or Painter and Decorator.
  • Good knowledge of surface preparation and paint application techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Understanding of health and safety requirements in a working environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
  • Valid MEWP licence.
