The Role
As a Strip Fitter / MET Technician, you'll play a key role in the repair process, ensuring vehicles are stripped, repaired and rebuilt to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include
- Stripping and refitting vehicle components safely and efficiently
- Removing and refitting trims, bumpers, lights, panels and mechanical components
- Preparing vehicles for the paint process
- Identifying damaged components requiring repair or replacement
- Working closely with Paint, Panel and Quality Control teams
- Maintaining exceptional standards while working efficiently to agreed timescales
About You
We're looking for candidates who have
- Previous experience as a Strip Fitter, MET Technician, Vehicle Trimmer or Bodyshop Technician
- Experience within an accident repair centre, bodyshop or vehicle preparation centre
- Skilled or semi-skilled technicians are encouraged to apply
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- 30 days holiday, including bank holidays
