Are you a student midwife due to complete your training this year? Are you enthusiastic about personalised, high quality care? North West Anglia Foundation Trust is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and inspirational Band 5 Preceptee Midwife to join our Maternity Team.

Within the Hybrid working model of the Preceptorship programme, there are plenty of opportunities to rotate in different departments, enabling you to maintain a high level of evidence based midwifery practice and to ensure you are proficient in all aspects of midwifery.

The post holder will be competent in the Midwifery skills, the management of antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care and have sufficient experience to practice safely and efficiently. Working in a hybrid model, you will experience a variety of shift patterns within the hospital and community settings to ensure competence in all areas of midwifery practice.

The post holder will require a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle as they are expected to work in both community and hospital settings, which include home visits and off site antenatal clinics. It is an exciting opportunity to utilise and develop your midwifery skills across low and high-risk settings.

We also offer an extremely comprehensive preceptorship package with a dedicated team to support you. To be able to complete the preceptorship programme, you will be employed for either 30 or 34.5 hours per week.

We are committed to supporting colleagues through organisational change. Priority will be given to staff at risk within North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust and Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care Board.
