We are looking for a confident and organised People Project Coordinator to join Mencap on a temporary basis for 3 months (ideally on a secondment basis). This is a great opportunity to support an important people project that will help us create a clearer, more consistent and accessible job description repository across the organisation.

You will play a key role in gathering, reviewing and organising job description content, working with colleagues across different teams to make sure roles are described clearly and consistently. You will help develop simple templates, guidance and standards so job descriptions are easy to understand, inclusive and useful for recruitment, role clarity, workforce planning and job evaluation. You will also support the creation of a clear process for keeping job descriptions up to date, easy to find and properly maintained.

We are looking for someone with strong project coordination skills, excellent attention to detail and the confidence to work with colleagues across different teams. You will be able to organise information clearly, manage competing priorities and keep work moving at pace. You will also be comfortable communicating with people in a clear, inclusive and accessible way.

This role would suit someone with experience of supporting people, HR, organisational change projects, particularly where clear documentation, good planning and colleague engagement are important. If you enjoy bringing structure to complex information, working collaboratively and helping create resources that make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
