We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Administrator to join our Main Reception team based at Cavell Centre, Edith Cavell Healthcare Campus, Bretton Gate, Bretton, Peterborough, PE3 9GZ.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, sense of accountability, ability to work as part of a team and follow standard operating procedures. This post is open to professionals with the right attributes to enhance a team.
The post holder will be the first point of contact for all visitors and staff entering the Cavell Centre. They will be responsible for:
- Taking and transferring phone calls
- Being the main point of contact for reception enquiries
- Photocopying and scanning documents
- Franking mail
- Booking meeting rooms via an online platform
- Uploading patient documentation to SystmOne
- Logging faults with facilities and maintenance team
- Validating car parking via an online portal
This list is not exhaustive and other duties may arise on a daily basis.

Using and having a good understanding of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Ensuring good customer service by providing a professional and effective service by dealing with queries from service users, carers or staff in person or on the telephone. Take accurate messages and ensure these are passed on to the appropriate people.
Carry out office duties, such as dealing with post and photocopying; be responsible for document filing and ensure that the relevant records are organised, accessible and up to date. Monitor and maintain the department's admin stocks. Arrange bookings for meeting rooms via Ubook online system. Accurately input data onto relevant electronic system, in a timely manner in line with standard operating procedures.
All shifts do include working some evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays and will be determined via a team rota.
